NAPERVILLE MARKETING FIRM PAUL GREGORY MEDIA RECEIVES 3 MARCOM AWARDS

NAPERVILLE, IL: Naperville marketing company Paul Gregory Media (PGM) received one Platinum Award, one Gold Award and an honorable mention in the 2009 MarCom (Marketing & Communication) Awards Competition. PGM won the awards for Branding/Logo designs, and the development of a successful integrated marketing campaign.

Topping the list of awards was the branding campaign for Connexus, a community association service company, which won them the Platinum Award. To better position their client in the marketplace, PGM changed their company name, created a new brand, and designed their marketing plan and collateral. The Gold Award was earned from their "Get Junged" cross-channel campaign, and included marketing collateral, environmental graphics, email marketing and viral marketing initiatives. Launched early 2009 and designed to renew interest, create awareness, and increase sales for Bob Jung Painting, the effort has succeeded on all three counts. Finally, PGM picked up an honorable mention for their branding work with "A Perfect Cause", a non-profit organization created by the founders of Perfect Air, providing financial assistance to struggling local families.

The MarCom Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand creative professionals. As part of its mission, AMCP fosters and supports the efforts of creative professionals who contribute their unique talents to public service and charitable organizations. Over the past three years, AMCP's Advisory Board has allocated over $60,000 in grants to support the efforts of its members. That money was used for marketing materials for homeless shelters, orphanages, day camps, community theaters and art centers; and for programs for the elderly and disabled; childcare; and educational endeavors for the underprivileged.

"This recognition underscores our conceptual and creative breadth in our ability to effectively reach both B2B and B2C audiences."
